Hello, Ric.
Last night while you were playing the piano at Von Maur, I inquired if you performed at private parties. Although you did not have a business card with you, you did give me your website. Please let me introduce myself and describe my request for your services. My name is Beth Donovan, and I am Ball Chair for the 2017 Heart of Mercy Ball. This Tuesday evening, June 27th the Misericordia Women’s Board is hosting a Kickoff Party for the Ball. If you are available, we would be delighted if you could play during cocktail hour (5:30 – 7 pm) in Benefactor’s Hall. Misericordia is located at 6300 N. Ridge Avenue, Chicago (just south of Evanston). I am not sure if you are familiar with Misericordia but it is a campus community of approximately 600 developmentally disabled adults. What I am looking for is a “little night music”: soft sounds, such as, show tunes, Irish melodies, light jazz etc. If you are available this Tuesday, I would be delighted to have you play for us. Please send me a proposal, and I will respond immediately.
With kind regards,
Beth Donovan
